Top 10 Schools In Chandigarh

Chandigarh, the city of beauty is not just the capital of two states, but it is also a union territory on its own in India. There are many places of interest for tourists in this city. So, here comes the question whether the city is suitable for tourism alone. No, it is the city suitable for living as well as it is the home for many best schools and colleges to provide the right kind of platform for a bright future for children.

Education:

When talking about education in this city, there are many educational institutions that range from privately owned and publicly operated schools and colleges in this city of beauty. According to the administration department of this union territory, there are nearly 107 government schools in this city and there are also convent schools. Now, it is time to get into the list of top 10 schools in Chandigarh:

Top schools:

  1. St. John’s High School
  2. Sacred Heart Secondary

Most of the top 10 schools in Chandigarh are private operated and the excellent thing to identify, which was not found in other cities in India is that a government school is also identified as one of the top schools in the city by the Outlook Magazine, which is something to be encouraged.

Parents show interest towards private over government:

Even though a government school finds a place in the list of top 10 schools in Chandigarh, most parents want their kids to get enrolled in a private school alone as they believe that their child will be in a position to gain individual attention only at the private schools and not a public school. But, the fact is that government school students also grab good positions in national level rankings, due to the best educational facilities and best teachers in their school. In addition, the benefits parents can enjoy is that the fee charged will be lesser in government-run institutions as compared to private.

So, if you are a parent living in this city, choose from one of the top 10 schools in Chandigarh and you can help your child grow in life with the best moral and social education.
