Are Good Schools Enough Or Does Your Child Need Individual Tuitions?

Are Good Schools Enough Or Does Your Child Need Individual Tuitions?

Good schools are not just known for the good quality education offered by qualified teachers, but they bring a wide range of benefits for kids, thereby eliminating the question of tuitions as long as the child does well at school. But, nowadays, in most of the developed and even in developing cities in India, sending kids to private or individual tuitions after school hours is turning out to be a fashion among parents. Educationists insist that parents should ask themselves several questions before enrolling their kid into an individual tuition and let us gather details about some of the important aspects to be considered by parents in this regard:

Does your kid need tuition?

All through the educational journey of their kid, most of the parents those days had the question whether they should send their kid to a private tuition. This is the question that every parent should ask themselves before enrolling the kid into a private tuition. A schooling system can be stated to be of good quality when it provides a comprehensive learning atmosphere to the kids that should enable most of the students to perform well without the requirement of any additional care and attention. The reason is that good schools make use of interesting and innovative methods of teaching that will help students to understand and grasp the concepts easily. The best schools make the process of learning even the hardest subjects among the student-community like science and mathematics easier by making use of revolutionary techniques.

Eventually, it relies on the kid and the level of attempts that he/she is ready to put on studies. It is recommended that parents should not send their kid to the tuitions just for the sake of sending as it can lead to serious consequences. They should avoid this by all means and should not send the kid to tuition just because the kids in the neighboring houses are going to tuitions.

How to judge the quality of education offered in school?

In general, the requirement of enrolling in a private tuition arises only when the schools impart poor quality education. In such cases, kids need additional classes to perk up their knowledge. Each school and each teacher is different and so it is important for parents to consider all these before sending the kid for tuitions. Most of the good schools make use of customized techniques of education and in most cases this itself is satisfactory for the kids to study in proper manner.

Is the child a slow learner?

Another important responsibility of the parents here is to identify whether their child is a slow learner. Parents can get to know this just in the initial few years of education of the kid itself. Even though, many parents have hard time in accepting that child is a slow learner, but this is the fact as some kids are naturally slow learners and they need some extra time to grasp things, particularly in the case of subjects with hard-to-understand concepts. In such cases, parents can very well send their child to extra tuition classes to help him cope with the subjects. They can also approach the teachers in the school and can request them to show special attention to their child. In the case of these children, patience is highly essential and understanding is also needed.

To sum up, good schools provide all the tools needed for each and every child to perform well in academics and parents need not have to worry too much about individual tuitions. But, considering the fact that each school, each child and each teacher is different, it is actually not possible to provide a common answer to all. So, parents without any doubt alone will be in a position to understand their kid and they will have to decide whether their child needs tuition classes or not.
